We provide year-round overnight boarding in a licensed, home-style facility. Dogs enjoy supervised outdoor play yards, indoor play space for small dogs, and structured social time every day.

Our weekday daycare program offers safe, supervised play for well-socialized dogs. It’s perfect for working owners or vacationers who want a happy, tired pup at the end of the day.

Grooming services are available for existing boarding and daycare clients. We offer bath and brush, full grooms, pawdicures, nail trims, and specialty breed services.

For dogs that do best at home, we offer dependable house and pet sitting services. This option helps maintain your pet’s normal routine while you’re away.

We occasionally feature adoptable dogs looking for loving homes. Reach out to learn about current adoption opportunities and meet your next companion.

Elena Nedobukh, owner of Elena's Barking Lot Inc., has lived and worked in Estes Park for over 16 years and proudly calls it home. After years of hands-on experience learning canine behavior and socialization, she took ownership of Linda's Pet Care Services and transformed it into Elena's Barking Lot.
This is not a traditional kennel. It’s a licensed state and city facility designed to feel like a home away from home. With indoor play areas, spacious outdoor yards, and constant supervision, every dog receives personal attention and structured social time.
Elena treats every dog like her own, including her DoberDoodle, Lilu.

We require proof that your pet is current on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo and Bordatella (kennel cough vaccine). If your puppy is under sixteen weeks, we waive the Rabies vaccination requirement since he or she is too young to be vaccinated for Rabies. If you do not have your vaccination records with you, please provide us with your vet’s name and phone number and I am happy to get that information over the phone, prior to your arrival.
We consider the Bordatella vaccination good for 1 year if it is an injection or an oral; if it is a nasal, it is effective for 6 months.
A Bordatella vaccine must be current prior to your arrival; if your pet has not had a Bordatella, the vaccine must be administered at least 7 days prior to your reservation in order for your pet to stay here.
We require all dogs to be spayed or neutered over the age of 1 and sometimes as early as the age of 6 months.
We reserve the right to refuse service to puppies under the age of one if they are exhibiting adult like behavior due to early maturity related to hormonal changes. There are no exceptions to this rule since they commingle with other dogs throughout the day in our play yards.
If you are coming from outside of Estes Park, prior to making a reservation, we require the name and number of where your dog is currently attending doggie daycare or has boarded within the last six months.
If your dog has not attended daycare but has boarded within the last six months, your facility referral must include playtimes as part of their package in order for your pet to attend here.
We will call your reference in order to get a good idea of which play yard your pet will prefer while he or she is with us. There are no exceptions to this requirement as play groups and socializing with other dogs is an essential component of our business and is what makes our facility unique in Estes Park.
Call or email Elena (see Contact Us page) if you have any questions about this requirement.
If you are from Estes Park, we are happy to provide your initial temperament test during a daycare day for you. Give us a call at 970-586-0340 and I will be happy to set up a daycare day that works best for you and your pet and I will provide you with a behavior assessment at the end of your pet’s play day.
Your dog will have his own individual crate with his bed, his toys, treats, and his own food and food bowl. We use the same type of crates that you use to puppy train your dog at home. (See Photo Gallery for pictures.) We match up your dog’s energy and personality with his roommates and we have four bedrooms with space for multiple dogs in each room so that your pet is not lonely and can sleep in the same room with his friends.

Yes!
If your dog has NOT been crate trained, we are unable to accommodate your pet for daycare or overnight services.
